Brenda is a fourth year student majoring in Physiology and minoring in Biochemistry and Microbiology. She has volunteered at Banner University Medical Center and worked at the UA Cancer Center. Over the summer she spent her time as an intern at Roche Ventana Medical Systems working on various projects. During the school year, she is a Supplemental Instruction Leader for courses such as Psio 201 and Chem 241a. Her goal is to pursue a career in the health field. Rebecca is a nontraditional student. At the age of 25, she is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a Pre-Medical emphasis and minors in Astronomy and Nutrition. She has studied abroad with the Nutrition program in Italy and the Public Health program in Northern Europe. She joined WIMS the first semester of its founding and has greatly enjoyed and benefited from her involvement. She loved her experience as Representative last year getting to know members. Hi I’m Sadie, I’m a second year honors student here at the U of A. I’m double majoring in chemistry and neuroscience/cognitive science with an emphasis in development and aging. Outside of WIMS, I volunteer at Clinica Amistad, am involved in Blue Chip, and work as a UTA for the math 100 program. Outside of school I love to watch movies and go for walks with my two dogs. Health Initiative Coordinator
Brynn is a honors junior studying Neuroscience, with a minor in Health and Human Values, with plans of attending medical school after graduation. Along with involvement in WIMS, Brynn does work in a lab that studies memories, volunteers at the UMC, is a SAIL fellow leader, is involved with the club Project Sunshine, has been a general chemistry preceptor, and has done mission trips in Mexico and Peru. Lauren is a senior at U of A majoring in Physiology with a minor in nutrition. She plans on applying to PA school after graduating. Sadie is a double major in Chemistry and Neuroscience and Cognitive Science and a double minor in Care Health and Society, and Statistics and Data Science. Outside of classes she has been a volunteer at Clinica Amistad for two years, and is an instructional manager for one of the CHEM 151 sections.
